Context
Elizium is a fintech operating in the digital-asset and asset-management space. I came in as Senior Finance Manager and took ownership of launching its crypto payment-acceptance platform — a new product letting businesses worldwide settle in crypto — along with the entire financial operation around it.
Mandate
Take the product from launch to a running, compliant, automated financial operation: stand up the crypto-acquiring service, wire it into the company's financial systems, and build the reporting and reconciliation layer underneath.
What I built and led
- Global crypto-acquiring launch — led the launch of a crypto payment acceptance platform for businesses worldwide, EVM-compatible so it could accept assets across the major EVM networks and give merchants a clean way to take crypto settlement with compliance built in rather than bolted on.
- AML/FATF compliance in the flow — embedded AML/FATF requirements directly into the acceptance flow (onboarding/KYC checks, transaction monitoring, Travel-Rule discipline) so compliance was part of the rail, not a manual afterthought.
- Integration with internal finance systems — connected the crypto-acquiring service to the company's internal financial systems and reporting infrastructure, so on-chain activity flowed straight into the books.
- Automated reporting & reconciliation — built an automated layer on n8n, Google Sheets API and Claude AI: pulling the numbers, reconciling them, and auto-generating finished reports into PDF and Notion. This cut report preparation from 3 hours to 15 minutes and removed ~60% of manual operations.
Team
Managed a cross-functional team of 9 across finance, analytics, development, AI and marketing — running the finance function while coordinating the technical and go-to-market sides of the product.
